I bought some yesterday. When I got home, I tried it out. It's nice but I can't get it off. I tried washing with soap and water and it came off a little, but this morning I can still see the color on my lips. How long will this last? Will it ever come off? How does it come off eventually? Anything I can do to speed up the process?

i rubbed my lips with like everything, but i thinkt eh most effecive thing to do isto rub it off with a tissue with a bit of vaseline jelly in it.

What would be a good lipcolor for me?
I am good with makeup, but the one thing I never really get into is lips. I want something that looks natural and not too overdone, but I want it to look good and make the difference. First of all, I`m 14 and already wear makeup. Also, should I do lipstick, lip gloss, ect? Then, what color? I have light blonde hair, fair skin, and blue/green eyes. In the July issue of 17 magazine they said that Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy Ultra Soothing Lip Tint was a good product to go natural. If you have tried it, do you agree? What do you specifically suggest?

I just started using MAC's lipstick called Matte: Russian Red and I absolutely adore the color! However, this product seems to like to smear on me and gets lipstick on my teeth. Lip gloss wears off to easily, I'd go for lip stain (looks similar to a marker and you pretty much color the lips in and it lasts all day, they make nice pale shades so they aren't so in-your-face. For you, I'd go Coral (like a pink/orangeish)

if you have big lips, I would avoid red, or even light pink metallic lip colors... metallic tend to look ashy against dark skin... try Clinique's ';Black Honey'; almost lipstick, it runs about $16.00 a tube and it's the best shade ever... it'll look dark in the tube, but it goes on sheer with the prettiest reddish-purple glaze... just remember, shades with brown will tend to make your teeth look yellow... and too much gloss tends to look tacky... keep it clean

It would make them look pouty and irresistible to kiss. Also, I use ';O';, from MAC. It's a light brown/golden tint lipstick. Don't wear dark colors since that will actually drown out your own skin color, but then again, it all depends on the lipstick color. These reds with golden tints really bring out the beautiful brown color. Go for bronzy color, I even wear pinks and they look awesome!

Has anyone used the Revlon ColorStay Overtime LipColor?
I'm thinking of buying it. Does it give good coverage and how long does it REALLY last????Has anyone used the Revlon ColorStay Overtime LipColor?
It stays on and looks good for about 4 or 5 hours then it starts to flake. Also I found it to feel really dry and uncomfortable. I would recommend Maybelline Superstay or Cover Girl Outlast Smoothwear instead. They last just as long but feel more comfortable on the lips.Has anyone used the Revlon ColorStay Overtime LipColor?

Eyebrows: Trimmed but not drawn to a solid color. If you need more color, brush some powder on it. A pencil will look too abrasive. Do not shave off our eyebrows and draw it in - that looks so odd to me. Don't you agree? :)
Smokey eyes: When you are going out, this looks good. But for everyday wear, go more subtle on the eye makeup. But ya - the smokey look is sexy.

What can you say about the Covergirl outlast smoothwear lipcolor??
its nice for a while...BUT
then ur lips get really dry and they start to peel. then whatever peels off takes the color with it and whatever doesnt peel off still has color and then ur lips look all discolored and stripey and then it gets in ur teeth..
u have to make sure u put the topcoat on all the flippin time. and it will run out b4 the lipcolor so ull have to buy more...
if u do use it..
wear it until u can tell ur lips are too dry...(days)
i wore for a couple of weeks b4 it really messed up my look..lol

then i suggest u exfoiliate ur lips..put chapstick and then get ur toothbrush and rub it on ur lips for like 3 min-5 min and then wear chapstick. put lip balm all day and all nite.

Why does lipstick make you lose your natural lipcolor?
When I was younger, I heard a lot of older women saying that you shouldn't use lipstick or gloss or most products on your lips because they said that it makes you lose your natural lipcolor. Obviously I thought it was stupid, and I didn't listen to them. Now, after a few years of wearing lipstick/lipgloss, I've definitely noticed that my lips are a lot paler than they used to be. So it looks like they were right. Does anyone know why this is?

I don't use make up for that reason.

I think it's more that you're used to seeing your lips with the extra color lipstick gives, so they look lighter with no lipstick on them. also, as you age your lips are gonna lose color just like your eyes will.
It's because your lips get color with the sun and if you've been covering them with lip stuff, then their not getting those UV rays that add a touch of color.

Try, before adding concealer to your lips for the pale look, to use a moisturizing lip balm, wait for it to dry, then add the layer of concealer, let it dry completely, and then put on a thin layer of clear gloss.

I have a bright pink lipstick by wet n' wild i put it on dab some not all of it off then put a little bit of pink lipgloss on
makes it just pefect

If you were willing to spend money then Fusion Beauty LashFUsion, Too Faced Lash Injection, Benefit BadGal, Benefit Get Bent, Stila Multi Faceted, or Dior diorshow mascara.
Cheaper:
CoverGirl LashExact, CoverGirl Volume Exact, Maybelline Define a Lash, Revlon 3D, or Loreal Telescopic.
All of these are AMAZING! But It matters on what you want all of the more expensive ones do basically everything. The lashexact separates, volume exact volumizes and separates, define a lash lengthens and separates, telescopic lenghtnes, and 3D curves, adds fullness, and lengthens.
As for longwearing lipcolors there basically the same no matter where you get them... tons of brands have them, covergirl, revlon, almay, maybelline are just some of them maybelline and revlon both have the normal (lipcolor and gloss) and a sheerer version (maybellines more light shiny/shimmery and glossy and revlons is a sheerer lighter shimmery color)
The keys to the long lasting lipcolors are:

The shine step (somtimes a gloss sometimes a balm depending on what u use) will come off but the color part usually stays put, reapplying the shine part will also make the color part last longer because nothing is in contact with it.

volume exact by cover girl is the best mascara i've found in over 25 years. i don't use long wear lip color, it either wears off or looks waxy.
COVER GIRL,COVER GIRL, COBER GIRL!!! that's the brand I get almost everythig from.
everyone I know uses Maybelline Great Lash and the best part is it's very affortable.

As for lip colors I'm not too sure. People usually dab on koolaid on their lips, and then put on a lipstick closet too that shade, which seems too last pretty long.

As for lip colors I'm not too sure. People usually dab on koolaid on their lips, and then put on a lipstick closet too that shade, which seems too last pretty long.

Trying to identify my lipcolor and need help?
I need to know what the line is called. It is by Max Factor and comes in a plastic tube about 5 inches long, clear on both ends with black plastic middle that says Max Factor. One end is the color and the other end is a complementary gloss that is used over the color. Each side has a small sponge applicator that is part of the tube. You have to let the color dry before you can use the gloss over it and then the color lasts all day. I can't find it in the store any longer and think they may have changed to a new line. I am trying to find it on ebay but I don't know what this line was called. thanks.Trying to identify my lipcolor and need help?

Do you live in the u.s? Maybelline's superstay gloss works really good, but the superstay lip color isn't so great.

yeah it really does work, but after a few hours it will get all clumpy and gross toward the part thats closest to the inside of your lips so you might wanna re apply. i tried to use make up remover for my lips but it would take forever and hurt from all of the rubbing, so i found that if i apply more lipstick over my lips then wipe with a tissue, it comes right off. it sort of reactivates the lipstick thats on there already. try it to see if it works with you.

ok with your eyes try gold 14k by mac and if that don't work get a eyeshadow 15 with all the colors and play with it... but with your lips try a nude lipstick or concealer with the concealer you can use whatever kind of lipstick you want to.. and the models do it all the time
light blue, silver, dark blue, very dark blue, grey, black eye shadows will make your eyes really brown, and stand out. black eye liner along the top eye lashes. blue also will contrast your brown hair and warm skin tone. lip gloss find really sparkly white that will make red lips pale pink.

ok with your eyes try gold 14k by mac and if that don't work get a eyeshadow 15 with all the colors and play with it... but with your lips try a nude lipstick or concealer with the concealer you can use whatever kind of lipstick you want to.. and the models do it all the time
light blue, silver, dark blue, very dark blue, grey, black eye shadows will make your eyes really brown, and stand out. black eye liner along the top eye lashes. blue also will contrast your brown hair and warm skin tone. lip gloss find really sparkly white that will make red lips pale pink.

Using 2 different shades can often come up with some unique colors...and a wonderful effect...I usually mix a sparkly red or medium red with chiffon and come up with a really cool shade of pink that is not too bright but yet is noticable...

Covergirl Wetslicks and Avon lip glosses are to die for. They're the best for colored shine. If you're looking for something a little more natural looking but still shiny try Aerie by American Eagle lip glosses. They last a long time and taste great. Covergirl Wetslicks and Avon lip glosses are to die for. They're the best for colored shine. If you're looking for something a little more natural looking but still shiny try Aerie by American Eagle lip glosses. They last a long time and taste great. Buy a sponge and put just a little detergent on the sponge about the size of a dime. then dampen the sponge. makesure it doesnt drip everywhere and its just a little damp. rub the sponge against the stain and keep rubbing until it got off a little. then just throw it into the washer.

The best lip color is one that is like your lips only darker. That's going to mean being in the pink/mauve/red range. You'll just need to experiment. I personally LOVE red lipstick but if you want to go more natural there is a Dr. Haushka lipstick color called Effetuoso, color #11. It's my lip color only a little darker.

take a concealer (preferably in bar )
apply concealer all over your lips
then get a colorless liplgoss (TRANSPARENT)
then apply it all over your lips
